In “Good Manners”, the werewolf film meet the musical, with a political subtext about social segregation in contemporary Brazil, where
homoparenthood is not even an issue. Winner of the special jury prize at the Locarno film festival, this film is a love story, told in two stages: Ana’s romantic love for Clara, and Clara’s maternal love for Joel. The film stars the Portuguese actress, Isabél Zuaa, now in a meteoric rise to fame.
